Cost of Valais Lambs?

Purchase costs vary from around $700+ for an F1 wether and increase, depending on the level of bloodline purity F1 – F5 (see chart below) as well as markings. Valais Blacknose sheep are herd animals and do best in a purchase of two or more if prospective owners do not already have companion sheep. They mix well with other farm animals and family pets, are easy-keepers and do well in most parts of Australia.

Are they easy to look after?

While Valais are a very quiet natured sheep, they still require the normal care every animal should receive and then some. Unlike most sheep, they will need to be shorn twice a year. Foot care should also be closely monitored.
